It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...Finally!!!

Ok so I love love love Christmas, and have been a bit bummed that it just doesn't feel like Christmas this year! Between not having a tree or many decorations, and the lack of snow (actually it is going to be in the 80's today...which is nice in its own way too) it just didn't seem like Christmas was right around the corner. Well that all changed this weekend! I finally had all my shopping done, gifts sent out to all the family, and Brandon and I had an amazing weekend consisting of buying Rudolph (my favorite Christmas movie) and making gingerbread houses!!! This was something we did every year when I was little, but I have not done in years! Also Brandon had never built one before, so I felt it was time that he be introduced to the fun experience of gingerbread house building :) If you know Brandon and I well you know we are pretty different in how we go about basically EVERYTHING! I tend to be messy and not real precise, Brandon on the other hand has a touch of OCD when it comes to cooking or building anything. He was so concerned with his house looking perfect, whereas I was more concerned with getting as much candy on my house and in my mouth as possible! I was done pretty quickly and had frosting everywhere (and a touch of a stomachache), Brandon was SLOW but I will give it to him his house looked very pretty...but lets be honest mine was more fun!

and of course Roxy had to make sure she was a part of the fun!
