Where to begin!

Well folks yet again I failed at keeping up with my blogging. Life has been busy and lets face it I got lazy on y'all! So here are a few of the highlights of the past few months, and I hope to update the blog with more indepth posts of these highlights! First off most of you already know Brandon and I are expecting our first kid come February!!!!!! We are so excited about the new addition to the Smart family, and I for one am dieing to find out what we are having. Also in my next blog (or ) I will post the baby bump pictures I have taken, and if I can figure out how I will put up some for my sonogram pictures!!!!!!!! Also I am sure there will be many more posts on that topic as the pregnancy progresses. On to other events in our life, in July my folks and grandma came for a visit, it was so great having family around! (again watch for posts and pictures of their visit coming soon...I hope:) Other than that the only other big change is that I am FINALLY working again. I am working at the arts and crafts center on base, now I'm not going to be getting rich by any means with this job, but it is fun, and much less stressful than working with kids...and a big bonus I don't have to wipe any butts or noses with this job! Although some customers sure do act like they should be in a preschool class! Gotta love customer service...actually I have to admit I kinda like those kinds of jobs, even though you deal with some major jerks (of course those are the people who as soon as they leave I talk about behind their backs :) !

So basically that is our last months in a nutshell, and I promise to post more about each of those soon, and will include some pictures too! Overall things are going really well for us here, although it has been an adjustment living so far from family, we couldn't ask for better friends than we have made here...and while all our friends and family were sweating it out this summer in 100+ temps we were relaxing in the mid 70's, definitely can't beat the weather here in the summers! Of course someone might have to remind me of that fact come winter when I haven't seen the sun in months!
