Well yet again I find myself behind on blogging, and sadly I have no excuse at all! So I am backtracking a couple months! In April we had our first visitor to our new home in England, it was Brandon's dad Phil. He was on his was to Africa and worked out a three day layover in London,so he could stop in for a visit. Although it was too short it was so nice to see family, and show off where we live now. Being a short trip didn't keep us from packing in a lot of stuff. Luckily Brandon was given the day Phil arrived off, and then it was his K-day so he didn't have to work any of the days his dad was here. After picking Phil up from the airport we ran past the base and pointed out a few things (however we did give him a tour of the fire station the following day!) After the tour of the fire station we went past the golf course (lucky me) and hit the driving range, I will admit my performance left more than a little to be desired, but it was entertaining so that is what really matters...right? After hanging out at base we hit the road to Framligham Castle, I don't really remember much of the history attached to it so sorry no history lessons with the blog folks, but I do have pictures :)
This is the entrance to the castle, it isn't one of the big castles, but had some pretty awesome views. Plus the weather was perfect that day!
This was a smaller castle and I didn't get a lot of pictures taken, but hopefully these photos will give you the general idea of the place!
