Bath...another one of those places that I have been itching to go to! We had planned on going with my parents, but due to morning sickness...or maybe all day sickness, I wouldn't have been able to make the long drive...ok maybe I could have made it but it wouldn't have been a pretty experience with me in the car with you, if you know what I mean! So my parents graciously passed on going to Bath so I wouldn't get left out. Luckily for me Brandon's folks wanted to see Bath as well so I got my 3rd chance to see Bath, and actually made it further than the train station this time...and wasn't too sick to enjoy it :) OK so let me start off with saying Bath really was very pretty, but if I am being totally honest I would say it was a bit of a let down. The Roman Bath itself was neat, but after 30 minutes there I was ready to move on. I had gotten a few nice photo's and looked around. I just couldn't listen to the whole audio tour, and stop at each stop on the tour, I got bored after 3 stops! I guess after seeing so many old cities, and catherdrals, etc, I just didn't get as excited there. I wish we had had time to take a bus tour through the countryside. What little of that, that we saw on the drive was GORGEOUS! So if I was to go back I would skip the city and enjoy the sights in the countryside. I am glad we made it there, and love how the pictures turned out, but unlike Stonehenge, for me personally it didn't live up to the hype! Oh well it was still a fun outing and something you wouldn't get to see in the states!
Brandon didn't like this picture, he said it was cheesy...but I disagree and think it was just fun, but at least he was a good sport and stood still for the picture (of course he did complain a little)
