FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!!!!! If you can't tell already I have been dieing to get to Stonehenge. We have thrown around the idea of going since we arrived in February, and after a couple schedule fall throughs, we decided to wait till Brandon's parents got here since his mom really wanted to go too, this way we would only need to go once. Now I know it is just a bunch of rocks and some people think it is boring, but I loved it! I mean come on, how often do you get the chance to visit one of the 7 wonders of the world??? Well if you are me...NEVER! I can't speak for Brandon, but I can definitely say that I was not let down by Stonehenge and loved going, now if I could convince Brandon to go back just one more time, there is a special tour there during the winter solstice, and you get to watch the druids do a ceremony, and walk the inner circle at night, I just think that could be pretty cool...or creepy? Oh well I guess we will wait and see if we make it to that :) I took over 50 pictures at Stonehenge, and I had a bugger of a time narrowing it down to a few to post, so sorry if some of the pictures are a bit redundant (ha look at that amazing use of vocabulary!) If you ever get a chance to go to Stonehenge I would definitely recommend it!
Oops I forgot that there was a second part to our Stonehenge trip...I guess I was just too stoked about the stones :) Anywho after Stonehenge we went to the town of Salisbury, which is just a few minutes out from Stonehenge. It was just another nice British town, with old buildings, shops, and pubs. Also like most towns there was a massive cathedral there too! Here are a couple shots of the church in Salisbury! Don't get me wrong it was a very nice church, but after seeing cathedrals in each town we have visited I have gotten a little churched out...heck I'm getting a little castle'd out too :)
So, you're carrying the "baby" and the backpack? That's not so fair!! Looks like a lot of fun!!
