Smart Parent visit

We were blessed to have more family come to visit us. We saw my parents in July and last week Brandon's parents came over for a visit. We were very busy, the first few days we just showed them around the area (Cambridge, Bury, etc) then we were off on a week long excursion around the UK and parts of Europe. We started our trip with a stop at Stonehenge, then off to Bath the following day, the next day we hopped on a plane to Amsterdam, then when Brandon's folks headed for the states, Brandon and I grabbed a train to spend a couple days in Paris! We loved getting to see new areas of Europe and are anxious to do more traveling. With that said this gal was VERY happy to get home. I was so worn out from all the go go go of the trip, and I missed my baby (Roxy). We were really blessed that our amazing neighbor Jen, agreed to watch Roxy while we traveled around so we wouldn't have to pay for a kennel!!! It was so cute hearing about Roxy playing with their little girl who is a year old. I guess Roxy did great with her, and anytime Maddie would cry Roxy would go check on her, and then run to Jen and back to Maddie like "come one". It makes me so happy to know she does well with kids since in a few more months we will have our first little one in the house! I also should thank my hubby for putting up with me on the trip. I got tired and grumpy a few times, and he was a trooper and carried my backpack for me most of the time so I wouldn't get as tired! He was awesome on the trip and did a pretty darn good job putting up with me. We got home last night, and I spent today doing lots of laundry. It is good to be home, but we are already planning our next adventure.

I let Brandon man the camera for a lot of the trip, which is uncommon, I am a bit of a camera hog. Plus in my defense Brandon never told me that he liked taking pictures, so I didn't think to offer before now. Although he did a great job taking pictures, over the 1 week we were gone he took almost 600 pictures. For that reason I have decided to separate my blogs about their trip into 3-4 posts so I can share more pictures with everyone! So this post doesn't share any trip photos, but keep an eye out over the next week, on my days off I will be posting a lot of pictures, and sharing more details of our trip!!!
