Vacation to Arizona

So we went to Arizona at the end of May, first of June. Although this is kind of backtracking in our lives I wanted to post a few pics from our vacation. A lot of Brandon's family lives in the Phoenix area, we also visited his cousins in Flagstaff...which I loved Flagstaff and would move there, unfortunately no air force bases near there :( Oh and the main reason we made the trip was to see his cousin Melissa get married, Congrats Adam and Melissa!

Here is a picture of the Colorado River at the bottom of the Canyon, I took the pic from the top! We did hike down a ways, but not close to the bottom.

We went a few miles down into the canyon. Going down I was doing pretty good, however I about died coming back up. I think Brandon was getting nervous that he might have to carry me out! I struggled for the first 1/2 mile back up, but after that I did much better, and we made it back to the trail head in the same about of time, as it took going down!



On out way back from Flagstaff we went to Sedona, here is my favorite rock from the trip...the Elephant. No idea why but I really liked this one :)



Here we are heading to the wedding. Now when I heard that we were going to an outside wedding, in Arizona, in June, I was a bit worried. It was going to be around 105 degrees on the wedding day. However everyone was right that told me that 105 in Arizona feels nothing like 105 in Kansas. It wasn't bad at all, at least not for me, I still felt bad for those guys in suits. It was a gorgeous wedding, and we had a blast dancing at the reception.
