Woohoo I got a letter from Brandon this week, and it was more than 6 lines this time. He was given 10 minutes to write instead of 2 this week :) They are so generous! He said things are better this week than last, that the first week was the worst...it still sucks just not as bad now. He was assigned to the Drum and Bugle Corp. Flight (flights are the dorms they are assigned) He wasn't too thrilled to be in the band, but not much he can do about that one. Also he has been put on laundry detail, which at first he thought wouldn't be too bad. However a couple weeks in he is realizing just how much laundry they all go through...and here is my side not, that laundry probably reeks! He said the days are going by faster. They were issued their weapons this week as well here was what he said about that "We got our weapons issues this week, we learned to take them apart, and put them back together. Then we learned how to beat the crap out of people with them, and crawl and roll. Pretty fun day!" Yeah that is definitely my husband there! He also said that the food is pretty good, they just don't give them any time to really eat it! He also has gotten involved in a bible study and goes to church there each Sunday and says he is really enjoying it. Lastly he told me how they get up at 4:30 am to do PT each day. Now if you have ever been around Brandon in the morning you know that he is NOT a morning person, and I am glad I am not around when he is getting up that early!
As for me I am Keeping busy for the most part. I am trying to keep packing anything non-essential, so when I move out in a couple weeks I am not scrambling. My main problem is I keep running out of boxes! Other than that it has been a pretty boring week. I have spent most of my time alone at my place (BORING)! I am very torn between being ready to move out and in with my parents so I wont be alone all the time, or wondering from night to night if I am going to be by myself that night. Not sure if I mentioned it, but I have a friend staying with me, but she is busy getting ready to move to Manhattan and find a new job, so she is not around much. Although I am lonely at times it is also hard to think about leaving my place, because then it is more evident that Brandon is not around and I can't just go about my day like he is...oh well either way I am glad to be moving forward and getting one day closer to getting started with out lives in the military :)
